After landing at Khwai airstrip, hop aboard our safari vehicle for a short journey through the bush to Camp Khwai. You will be welcomed with a refreshing drink by your host at our traditional thatch main area overlooking the River Khwai wetlands.
Camp Khwai is inspired by the calmness of the Bedouin lifestyle merging with the cultural systems of Batswana, resulting in an intimate and immersive setting.
Proceed to your spacious double bed suite and enjoy further views from your elevated private balcony. You might spot some elephants - or even a stalking leopard (yes it does happen from time to time). Rest - assured by the mosquito net, ceiling fan and night watch team.
Our main area is the intimate heartbeat of the camp where we provide a range of international wines and delectable dishes from our experienced and local chef. There are plenty of relaxation areas to choose from both under cover and sun. Wifi is available and the pool is open all year round.
Sunrise and sunset is a wonderful time to walk out on to the firepit deck that is our venue for breakfasts and evening fireside chats.

We don’t do bucket showers - as quaint as it may be – rather saviour a “no time limit” refreshing hot (and cold if needed) shower that has a direct line of sight to the river (just in case your favourite sighting happens to be there).
Our Special unit is for larger groups and families – with interconnected rooms that share an internal and external lounge areas lends ample space for everyone to spread out and create lasting memories.
In all room types, step outside and immerse yourselves in the breathtaking views of the area, watching elephants graze across the plains or buffalos taking an evening stroll in the distance.
